About
Enginuity Systems was founded by Salim Kortobi, a mechanical engineer, university instructor, consultant, and software developer who works at the intersection of design, simulation, manufacturing, and engineering software.
Salim holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering. He is a Certified SolidWorks Expert (CSWE) with experience spanning engineering education, consulting, research, product development, computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided engineering (CAE), and additive manufacturing.
His experience spans university engineering instruction and hands-on consulting, with work involving engineering software, simulation, product development, and technical problem-solving.
This combination of engineering, research, and software experience led to the development of PathToSolid, a software platform that converts additive manufacturing toolpath data into engineering-ready geometry.
Through Enginuity Systems, Salim aims to bridge the gap between advanced engineering methods and practical engineering work by providing the expertise, training, and software tools needed to help engineers and organizations make better decisions and move projects forward.
